For Organizations

Develop Leaders Who Can Communicate Effectively

Your leaders know their work. I help them communicate that work with the clarity, confidence, and presence required to influence decisions and move the organization forward.

I provide public speaking training for leadership teams through interactive workshops, coaching, live practice, and longer-term executive communication programs. Leaders strengthen how they show up in presentations, meetings, executive updates, difficult conversations, and the everyday speaking moments that shape credibility.

The Communication Gap

You Have Probably Already Seen the Signs

Communication gaps do not always show up as a lack of knowledge. Often, the leader understands the work deeply but struggles to translate that expertise into a message other people can understand, support, and act on.

Complex Work Is Difficult to Follow

They understand every detail, but the message arrives dense, technical, or difficult for the audience to follow.

The Recommendation Is Missing

The room receives the data but is left to determine what it means and what should happen next.

The Main Point Arrives Too Late

The strongest part of the message comes after the audience has already spent its attention on background and context.

Strong Ideas Do Not Secure Resources

Requests for budget, headcount, support, or a decision stall because the case is not presented clearly.

Pushback Disrupts the Message

A difficult question or unexpected objection causes the leader to over-explain, retreat, or lose the point.

Communication Has Not Grown With the Role

High-potential and senior leaders are entering rooms with greater visibility, larger audiences, and more complex expectations.

Communication is a skill. With the right structure, practice, and feedback, it can be strengthened.

Training for Leadership Teams

Public Speaking and Executive Communication Training for Leadership Teams

Strong workplace communication requires more than understanding a framework. Leaders need opportunities to say the words aloud, test their approach, respond to questions, and receive feedback before the next important moment arrives.

I design public speaking training for leadership teams around the communication situations participants need to navigate in their roles. Sessions can address message structure, executive presence, strategic storytelling, questions and pushback, concise communication, workplace influence, and the ability to translate complex information into a clear recommendation or next step.

Training can be delivered as a single interactive workshop, a customized series, or Practiced Presence™, a 12-month Executive Speaking Lab. Programs are available virtually, in person, or through a blended format and can be adapted for executives, senior leaders, high-potential cohorts, managers, technical experts, and cross-functional teams.

The Learning Approach

Learning That Moves From Understanding to Action

My approach is grounded in adult learning, organizational leadership, human-centered design, and more than 15 years of designing and facilitating leadership development experiences.

Each experience helps leaders understand the strategy, see how it works, practice using it, receive feedback, and identify where they will apply it next.

Participants say the words out loud, test their approach, and build experience using the skill before the next important moment.

Receive Feedback

Leaders receive direct, supportive, and actionable feedback on what is working and what to strengthen.

Participants identify where they will apply the skill and receive tools or accountability that reinforce development.

Frequently Asked Questions

Planning an Organizational Engagement

Are programs available virtually and in person?

Yes. Programs, workshops, and coaching can be delivered virtually, in person, or through a blended format. I am based in the Dallas–Fort Worth area and work with organizations across the United States and globally.

Can a program be customized for our organization?

Yes. Engagements can be customized based on your audience, business goals, organizational context, available time, and the communication situations your leaders need to navigate.

Do participants have to share confidential workplace information?

No. Participants should never disclose confidential, proprietary, or sensitive information. Workplace scenarios can be anonymized or adapted, and realistic general scenarios can be used to develop the same communication skills.

What is the difference between Practiced Presence™ and a workshop?

Practiced Presence™ is a 12-month cohort experience designed to build communication capability through repeated practice, feedback, coaching, and accountability.

A keynote or workshop addresses a defined topic during a single engagement or shorter series. Workshops can be highly interactive and customized, but they do not include the same year-long practice and reinforcement structure.

Can you facilitate a leadership program we already have?

Yes. Through Simply Training Solutions, I provide subcontracted and direct facilitation, coaching, instructional design, and program-delivery support. I can deliver an established curriculum, support an existing program, or partner with your team to strengthen the learner experience.

Who should contact you about an organizational engagement?

I work with Learning and Development, Talent Management, Human Resources, executive sponsors, business leaders, conference planners, consulting firms, prime contractors, and other professionals responsible for developing leaders.

What does public speaking training for leadership teams include?

Each experience is customized around the audience, organizational goals, available time, and the communication situations leaders need to navigate. Training may include message structure, executive presence, concise communication, strategic storytelling, workplace influence, presentations, executive updates, questions and pushback, or communicating recommendations and requests. Sessions include opportunities to apply the strategies, practice aloud, and receive actionable feedback.

How do we get started?

Schedule a 30-minute discovery call. We will discuss your audience, goals, timeline, current challenges, and the type of support you are considering. After the conversation, you will receive a recommended next step based on your organization’s needs.
