Meet Summer Alexander
Hey, I'm Summer.
Most public speaking coaching focuses on hand gestures and vocal variety. Those matter, but they are only the polish. The real work that transforms careers is leadership presence and the ability to influence others in everyday moments.
I have coached more than 125 leaders one-on-one and trained thousands more across global organizations. Through this work, I discovered something consistent. The gap between a good manager and a visionary executive often comes down to one core skill. Leaders who communicate with clarity, confidence, and strategic intention create momentum and drive change.
My background in Learning & Development and Organizational Leadership allows me to look at your communication as a strategic business tool rather than a speech. Whether you are an introvert trying to find your voice or a seasoned executive refining your message, we will work together to ensure that when you speak, people listen, and then they act.
That perspective did not come from a script. It came from years of studying how leaders actually learn and grow.
I studied Strategic Management in undergrad and earned my master’s degree in Organizational Leadership at DePaul University, where I also completed a certificate in Educating Adults. I strengthened my professional foundation through advanced training in Human-Centered Design with IDEO, and I earned a DEI and Belonging certification from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. These experiences ground my coaching in cultural intelligence, equity, and inclusive communication, and they shaped the Human-Centered Strategic Storytelling™ Framework that guides my coaching and the Everyday Presentation Planner.
Since 2011, I have owned and operated a consulting practice that has supported global companies and thousands of leaders. My work brings together research, technology, organizational psychology, talent development, communication, and human-centered design. This combination allows me to teach leaders how to speak in ways that move people to take action in meetings, updates, presentations, and high-stakes conversations.
One client came to me, preparing for a major presentation, convinced that because she was an introvert, she was not “executive enough.” Three months later, she led her session in front of over 100 participants, which was praised as being one of the best presentations of the 3-day conference.
At my core, I am an educator, an advocate, and an encourager. I work best with action-oriented leaders who are ready to do the work, not just talk about it. My purpose is to help leaders communicate with clarity, confidence, and influence in the everyday moments that matter most.
